Curasept ADS|DNA mouthwashes, toothpastes and gels, based on Chlorhexidine, are specific to activate a profound antibacterial and antiseptic action, essential to intervene effectively on bacterial biofilm (bacterial plaque).
Chlorhexidine is the only substance known to date capable of acting with 4 fundamental interventions on plaque:
Chlorhexidine prevents bacteria from adhering to the surface of the teeth.
Chlorhexidine, at the usual concentrations of use, has the ability to destroy numerous types of bacteria.
Chlorhexidine, in addition to acting against bacteria, manages to break the chemical bonds of calcium with glycoproteins, effectively disintegrating the framework of the plaque in each of its layers.
After use, Chlorhexidine is released gradually inside the oral cavity for approximately 12 hours, allowing a prolonged action that stimulates the disintegration of the plaque layers and the destruction of bacteria throughout the oral cavity, as well as prevention of formation of the plaque itself.
